Mockingjay waits for elements to be actionable and the page to be settled prior to performing actions. This eliminates the need for artificial timeouts - the primary cause of flaky tests. But there are always cases where explicit waits are required to test the application properly (example, timeout behaviours, inactivity behaviours, etc)
